KIDS PRAYER CARD CRAFT
These fun and easy-to-use prayer cards are available for purchase here. They include 6 beginner Catholic prayers displayed with bright colors and simple fonts, perfect for kids! To make this great printable even better (and helpful!), I created a fun little craft to help make these prayer cards super easy and accessible for little ones. Below are the instructions for this simple how-to!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
The supplies you need for this are so simple and I happened to have them all around my house! I have a box of binder rings that I bought years back for a school project. The yarn is just out of my craft collection! Here is a short list of what I used:
- Catholic Kids Prayer Cards Printable
- Binder Rings
- Yarn or Ribbon
- Hole Punch
- Scissors or Paper Cutter
You could use a key ring or pipe cleaner in place of the binder ring and for extra protection, you could laminate them!

SIMPLE ASSEMBLY
The first step in this easy project is to just purchase, download and print the prayer cards.

Printing them on card stock or heavier paper will help them to hold up longer. (Bonus points if you laminate them! I have dreams of owning a laminator one day! Haha!)
Next, all you need to do is cut them out, stack them up and punch the hole in the top corner. Then just simply slip them onto the binder ring!
For a fun addition, I added a simple yarn tassel to the ring! For this, I just gathered up the yarn I wanted to use, looped it over the ring and tied it off. I trimmed the ends and tosseled them a bit. I think it just looks so cute and makes it a bit easier for small hands!
TEACH THEM YOUNG
This fun bundle of Catholic kids prayers are perfect for all of your kids! Even before they can read, you can use this to sit and recite these prayers with them! I know my 4 year old daughter loves the bright colors and fun tassel and anything that makes learning and praying fun for kids is a win!
