Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter, softened
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Large egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 box (3.4 oz) of Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups all purpose flour

Simple Mixing Instructions
Once you’ve gathered all the ingredients, we are ready to get started! First, preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray one or two cookie sheets with cooking spray or line with parchment paper.
Next you will mix your butter, peanut butter and brown sugar in a large bowl or Kitchen Aid mixer until the mixture is creamy. Then you add in the vanilla extract, egg and milk.
Once you’ve mixed those ingredients well, we will begin adding the dry ingredients. First add the box of pudding mix and baking soda. Next, slowly add the flour one cup at a time until the dough is soft and sticky.
*I find sometimes to dough is a bit too dry, if this is the case, add more milk one tablespoon at a time until the dough sticks together.
Finally, stir in the chocolate chips!
Baking Instructions
Once everything is incorporated, scoop the cookie dough into approximately 1″ balls and place them evenly on the baking sheet. Next you will push down on the top with a clean fork to create the classic peanut butter cookie cross hatch pattern.
Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 8-11 minutes. Let them cool bit on the baking sheet (about 5 minutes) and then transfer them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
