Marlee’s Student Council Election

FEATURED

Marlee is so excited to be running for student council! Each class room gets to vote two council members and they get to hang two campaign posters and they have to give a speech before election day. She ran last year but she was pretty nervous and didn’t give it much thought. But this year, she is all excited and was mapping out her poster ideas when she brought the sign up sheet home! Election

Our first family vacation is in the books and it was amazing! It was more than we could have expected! We headed up north to Kelley’s Island, a small island right off the coast from Port Clinton, Ohio. It was scenic, laid back and perfect for our long weekend! When searching for a vacation spot, I knew I wanted some place fun, someplace relatively close and somewhere cost effective with fun stuff for the kids!

School Supplies Flash Cards
FEATURED

It’s  back too school and along with that comes homework! Each year our kids have brought home two sets of flash cards and are asked to practice them each night. While this is great for them and super easy, I always battle with these cards! They are always such a mess and we can’t find the whole set and if you do, you fumble around with the whole deck trying the run through them with

It was a big weekend in our house! After months (okay, years) of not wanting anything to do with a dog or the extra responsibility, we suddenly fell in love with the idea. That seems to be how most things go with us! A couple weeks ago we found the sweetest puppy and Erik and I knew this was going to be our new addition! The Fiely’s were getting a puppy! Our kids are scared

Pool Day Fun

FEATURED

We love being able to sneak in little summer fun activities! Last night we visited our neighboring town and tried out their new pool and water park! Needless to say it did not disappoint! The kids had so much fun and I don’t think it will be our last pool day!   Once everyone got home and settled after work and the sitters, we made a quick supper (consisting of PB&J with veggies…fancy, I know!)

This weekend went by in kind of a blur (but of course, don’t they all?!). We had a fun day Saturday and took the kids to the zoo! I feel like this is a constant struggle for me as a mother. In general, the Fiely’s avoid doctors. (To each is their own, but we feel the more you get over things yourself without meds, the more you can fight off!) But when your 1 year old is slowing down and showing signs of distress, you have to ask yourself…do I call the doctor? Please just tell me, tiny toddler who can’t talk, are
