Lent always approaches so quickly after Christmastime and there are years when I feel so unprepared. Each year looks a little different as far as what we all accomplish as a family during this liturgical season, but each year I make it a point to be sure the kids are involved and informed. The easiest way to do this is to talk to them about their sacrifices. This year I put together this fun Kids Lent Coloring Checklist to help them keep track of their sacrifices and also countdown to the Easter celebration.
Kids Lent Coloring Checklist
Because I know how life can come at you hard and fast, I thought I would share this coloring checklist with you! The checklist is simple for even the youngest kids to understand. They can write in what they plan to ‘give up’ during this Lent and/or what they plan to ‘take up’. There is a space for their name as well to make it personal!

The cross is the focal point on the coloring sheet! The cross is filled with 40 boxes so they can easily color in one box for each day during Lent. This serves as a way to reflect on the day to see if they stuck true to their Lenten commitment and also serves as a visual way to countdown to our Easter celebration!
