I don’t know how, but our little beefcake is 3 months old already! We are all still so in love with our little Kip! Going from a family of 6 to a family of 7 has been a pretty smooth transition and we can’t imagine life without him! Here is a quick update on our baby number five, Kip Joseph:
Growing Fast
Kip is growing at a rapid pace and, while he doesn’t have the marshmallow rolls, he is plenty plump for his age! (I don’t know his exact weight since we haven’t had him to the doctor at all and we don’t have a baby scale #fifthchildproblems) He is really active now and is always kicking and squirming! We call him our wiggle butt! He can squirm himself in circles! He swings his arms around a lot and has gotten a lot better at controlling them! He reaches for toys and gets lucky enough to grab them from time to time!
Slobber Monster
Kip has started to become quite the slobber puss and constantly has his fist in his mouth so I think we might be at the beginning stages of teeth already. Either that or he is just a slobbery little puppy dog…either way! He soaks through his clothes and blankets quickly but we love him anyways!
Easy Like Sunday Morning
Our little buddy is still just as laid back as he has always been. He goes with the flow and is pretty content just hanging out on the floor watching the action! (I know, I know…I am so spoiled!) We recently bought him a cool little chair like this one and he loves it! His head control is really getting great so he likes to sit in here for a little bit and look around!
Healthy as a Horse
Round one of his vaccines are over and he took them like a champ! He gets his next round later this month and hopefully he handles them just as well! We don’t do the well baby visits and haven’t had him to the doctor for any other reasons. He is a healthy little boy!
Our little guy is just the light of our lives! All of the kids flock to him and just love to lay and chat. I can only imagine what he will have to say back when the time comes!
Not-So-Manly Nicknames
Kip has about a million nicknames too (most of which are my fault…I apologize to all of my kids for their nicknames!) He has been called Kip, Kipper, Kipper Bear, Kippy, Kip-a-Doo, Doodle Bug, Beefcake and Chunk Muffin to name a few. LOL!
Here are some shots I snagged of him. I hope you enjoy his sweet blue eyes and chunky bare belly! (And he does smile all the time…just not when momma gets the camera out!)
