We love being able to sneak in little summer fun activities! Last night we visited our neighboring town and tried out their new pool and water park! Needless to say it did not disappoint! The kids had so much fun and I don’t think it will be our last pool day!
Once everyone got home and settled after work and the sitters, we made a quick supper (consisting of PB&J with veggies…fancy, I know!) and then headed to the pool!
This isn’t your ordinary pool…it was perfect for kids! Most of the pool wasn’t any deeper than 3’6″, which is amazing for my little, non-swimmers. Seriously, the boys still will not even dunk their heads!
Although they were nervous we did make some progress and the boys got in and walked around and had fun. They had a water table, a splash bucket and a lazy river!
Marlee made her way around most of the pool and then I tried to convince her to try the big water slide! I got her to go up the stairs but she wouldn’t go down. (Again, it was progress!) I went down though! It was fun and the kids enjoyed watching!
Vayda was hesitant to get wet too but I carried her around the pool and I think she ended up enjoying it too!
In the end it was a fun little night out of the house for some summer fun! We can’t wait to go back!
